Manisha Adhikari is a healthcare professional with over six years of experience in quality assurance, project coordination, and public health. She works at PHFI, supporting the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare by National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Her work focuses on advancing climate-resilient healthcare systems and enhancing public health preparedness through planning, training, and policy work.

She started her career at SAMS, helping hospitals meet NABH standards and improve quality. At EHI International, she worked on a World Bank project under UKHSDP in Uttarakhand, monitoring services and facilities in Sub-District hospital, CHCs and mobile health vans. Later, at The Hans Foundation, she managed mobile medical units and worked with local healthcare teams in Almora, Uttarakhand.

Manisha interned at Max Healthcare, Jaypee Hospital, and Vinayak Hospital, studying hospital operations focused on ICU delays, radiology workflows, and biomedical waste management. She holds a Master’s in Hospital Administration and a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology. Additionally, she holds a certification in Quality Management Systems from BSI.
