A national-level platform focused on integrating environmental sustainability into healthcare systems—from planning and policy to on-ground delivery.

Scheduled for 20 June 2026 at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad, the conference brings together healthcare leaders, sustainability experts, policymakers, and institutions to address the urgent need for climate-resilient and low-carbon healthcare.

The conference is organized under the Health & Environment Leadership Platform (H.E.L.P), an initiative of Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in collaboration with Health Care Without Harm (HCWH), and supported by leading healthcare institutions.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
IN HEALTHCARE – THE NEED OF THE HOUR

With the healthcare sector causing a massive environmental footprint of 4.4–5% of global emissions, environmental sustainability has become a top priority for healthcare organisations. Many institutions are aligning their strategies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to build a sustainable future. Understanding how an organisation overcomes the barriers and integrates sustainability into its strategy and business operating model will create a competitive advantage in the years ahead. As the road to sustainability is filled with challenges and complexities, it is an imperative for organisations to have the support of a REPUTED, EMPOWERING & GUIDING PLATFORM that enables a smooth transition toward sustainable systems.

H.E.L.P International Conference 2026 @ Hyderabad marks a landmark moment as it brings together healthcare leaders and champions of sustainability from across the globe. The theme of H.E.L.P International Conference 2026 @ Hyderabad – “FROM PROMISE TO DELIVERY” is designed to make organisations’ aspirations of achieving environmental sustainability a reality. It will feature presentations, case studies, and discussions led by experts that dive deeper into aspects such as how to revamp hospitals to become sustainable and explore several ways hospitals can reduce their environmental footprints.

The program is planned to inspire participants to lead the charge—enhancing patient care while making sustainability a core commitment within the sector and beyond. Participants will learn and share, recharge their passion, address key challenges, embrace actionable strategies and innovative ideas, and build new connections with sustainability leaders.
