Student Research

Student Research at Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPHs)

Students pursuing degrees such as Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSc CR), Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM), and Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) at Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) engage in rigorous research endeavours within the broad domain of Environmental Health. Their dissertations cover a diverse range of topics, including the impact of air and water pollution on community health, climate change and its effects on disease patterns, waste management practices, and the health implications of industrial, agricultural chemicals, etc. These research projects are often grounded in empirical data and involve fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and comprehensive literature reviews.
 
By addressing pressing environmental health issues, these dissertations not only contribute to the academic growth of the students but also provide valuable insights and evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and public health practitioners. These scholarly works are instrumental in advancing the understanding of environmental health challenges and devising effective strategies for mitigating their impact on public health.
