About
H.E.L.P. (Health and Environment Leadership Platform) is a network established in 2017 by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) under the Centre for Environmental Health (CEH), in collaboration with Health Care Without Harm (HCWH). It serves as the India chapter of HCWH’s Global Green and Healthy Hospitals, aiming to reduce the environmental footprint of Indian healthcare and promote public and environmental health.
H.E.L.P. aims to showcase leadership in health systems by reducing their environmental and energy burden, advocating for collaborative policymaking to address the health impacts of environmental pollution, and building capacity among health professionals and the healthcare system to revamp sustainability and resilience towards environmental changes.
